What this blog's all about

I've created this blog as a playground really. I am a Front End Developer for a company called Nimbus Hosting, I recently got into coding after spending the last 8 years or so in sales and travelling the world.

I love to code, and learning new technologies, which leads me onto this blog.

There will be an actual follow up article to this page about the tech used to build this blog, with the decisions and challenges faced.

In a nutshell, it's a Strapi backend, which is a headless CMS, along with a Nuxt.js frontend. Nuxt.js is a Vue.js framework with a lot of handy things built in like layouts and routing. This makes my life a lot easier when it comes to maintaing and updating the application.
